At one point in my life, I weighed almost 400 lbs and battled constant fatigue, fibroids, PCOS, diabetes, and thyroid issues. Doctors told me this would be my reality forever — that I would need medication or surgery just to manage it.

But I refused to believe that was the only way. I turned to food as medicine, and everything changed. By shifting to a whole-food, plant-forward lifestyle, I healed naturally. The weight came off, my energy returned, my cycles regulated, and the conditions I thought I’d live with for life began to disappear.

That transformation lit a fire in me. Today, I’m a Board-Certified Holistic Nutritionist, classically trained chef, owner of Charlotte’s #1 vegan restaurant, and soon-to-be Functional Medicine Doctor. I’ve had the honor of teaching hundreds of people through live classes, workshops, and community events — blending culture, flavor, and nutritional science into meals that are not just healing, but delicious and doable.
